What can I say, it was the perfect day to photograph Tara - who is expecting a little girl on August 16 2009 (so in these photos she is almost at 8 months). It was warm and sunny with a cool breeze, which in Tara's terms was perfect for her... she wouldn't be over heating!
She was so great about all my suggestions for photos and even had ome ideas of her own... I must admit for my first maternity session (for my own business) I am really proud! I really think some of the photos turned out beautiful. I was so glad when she was up for shooting outside as I have not seen too many maternity session outside... most are inside... perhaps even more revealing... and not that I don't like that... it really lovely too... I just really wanted to get outside, in nature like surroundings with natural sunlight, nothing adds a nice warm touch like sunlight.
We met at Edworthy Park in Calgary and found all kinds of great spots to shoot. It was just a great day! I had a blast as we talked about all things pregnant. I can't wait to see the wee one in August!
